Default Redline Time Attack, Gateway Raceway, July 28-29

Hey everyone,

It was suggested to be by a couple of the users over at STLSR.com to come here and make a post regarding our upcoming Redline Time Attack event at Gateway International Raceway, the weekend of July 28th-29th.

The entry fees for the event are:

$175 for Saturday HPDE/Practice Day
$200 for Sunday Time Attack
$350 for Both Saturday and Sunday

You can expect to receive 2.5 hours of track time on Sunday and about 2 hours of track time on Sunday. We run three run groups on Saturday (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced) and for the Time Attack competition, we have three classes: Street, Modified, Unlimited.

To register for the event, you can use this link:

http://www.redlinetrackevents.com/cp/scrip...p?idCategory=23

For more information on our series and the event, please use this link:

http://redlinetimeattack.com/index-6.html

Please be sure to read over our Rules if you intend to participate in the Time Attack on Sunday.

We are also holding a promotional event at Grand Prix Speedways on Saturday, July 14th. We've negotiated discounted rates for our event there and we are also giving away 1-Day entries into the Time Attack to the top three finishers at the Grand Prix Speedways event.

General admission for the event is only $15, and is good for both Saturday and Sunday. We will have fliers located at many speed shops throughout St Louis which are also good for $5 Off admission. You will also be able to download a coupon from our website good for $5 Off admission.

If you are not interested in driving or racing at this event, we can also setup a small "corral" of sorts in the paddock, if you guys want to come to the event as a group. We simply need to be contacted by a "leader" who we can communicate with. It would be nice to have a group of a couple dozen S2000's at the event cheering for those S2000s competing in the Time Attack on Sunday.

S2000's have historically done pretty well at our past Time Attack events, both in Street Class and Modified Class. Hopefully we'll see a few of you compete in the event.

If you have any questions for us, you can post them here or you can always email us or call us:

See you at the track!

Hey Nikolas,

Do you need instructors for the HPDE?

Signed up and paid for both days.

Now I just need all the Gateway S2000 members to come out and be my little fan club.

Remember... For anyone NOT interested in competing on Sunday, you can simply sign up for the HPDE on Saturday for only $175. 2 1/2 hours of track time for a pretty good price! Come on out! :-)

Refer to Keith's post:

Certainly sounds like there's some education or instruction...

The acronym HPDE is used for both terms.... High Performance Driving Event or High Performance Driving Educatin...

We certainly do have instructors at our events that provide Education to those interested. Our events lean more towards being Open Track Events than anything, with most people simply out there to enjoy driving their cars on the track.

Then we decided to offer the Time Attack events for those who wanted to get involved in motorsport events, without the risk and monetary commitment of wheel-to-wheel racing.

BTW, Shawn will be out there on Saturday and I will be there instructing as well. For those of you who have been thinking about doing a track day with your S2000, this is a perfect opportunity to try it out since most schools these days won't allow S2000s to participate unless an aftermarket roll bar is installed. Also, the price is pretty darn good!

So who else is coming? Dave? Bill? Nick?
