I would do this in a heartbeat... if my wife didn't threaten to disembowel me with my car keys.

If I was rich I would. The S gets awesome gas mileage on long trips. With a tight draft we could easily achieve 30-34 mpg and if we trail some semis perhaps a tad more. I would love to do a cross country drive...its on my must do list before I die.

I'm serious if anyone is down for this I am game. Throw a bra on the front of the S, get a Billman once over, and its a go.

It's 5800 miles there and back....
at 30 MPG that would be about 193 gallons of gas
at an average price of 3.50/gal
would be $676 in gas alone.

Nah gas would be cheaper out of NY. NY is the most taxed gas in the country, so it would probably be 150-200 dollars cheaper. But anyway, yeah 5800 miles! Thats what.....3 years worth of driving done by Marcus in his S!!! Think of the Americana that is out on the road....the trip across the Rockies alone is worth it.

We could ship the cars to CA and fly there then drive back? Then its just 2400 miles HowS2kru I know you want to do it! What about you Billman? YOu can drift in every state!
