I am going paintballing in April and SteveUCI and meloman said that they wanted to go. So I figured we see how many people wanted to go too. Here is a link to the website of the place we will be going SC VILLAGE .

They have 20 different battle fields that represent different wars (Vietnam, Iraq, Kosovo, etc) and you don't do the same field twice in one day, in fact you can't do all the fields in one day. So here is the list of the people that are in so far and I will get a date by the end of the week.

how many people are needed to have an entire "session" to ourselves? is that even possible? and cost estimate?

$25.00 to play all day, plus any rentals you may need. I will see if we can do it on a
Sunday so your boyfriend can come. As for teams, we had 20 people on one team last time we played. So we would need about 30 to 40 people to play.

 

my lil sis wants to go (she's 13, is that OK?). bf is hesitant to go cuz he got nailed in the face last time and claims it was very painful (btw, he admits he chose not to wear the mask). LOL!! i'll drag him out if it's on sunday. let's pick a time and date and i'll recruit some of my friends, too. let's try to get a big enough group so that we're playing with people we know - don't want to go against those who take themselves too seriously.

 

You have to wear full head gear, in fact they are very strict about it. And don't worry about getting hurt. I was afraid of getting hurt also and was fine.

 

If you walk out in a t-shirt and think it won't hurt when you get nailed...your wrong. The helmet protects your head and most of your neck. But trust me, when your adrenaline gets going you won't really feel it. It's so much fun!!! It's almost as fun as the drives. We should obviously leave this one open to outsiders if turns out the s2k group is not really interested - right?

 

Hey who ever wants to come is fine. My other friends that are coming don't have S2000s.

 

Cool !!! I'll start rounding some people up. You can put me down for me + 3 confirmed. I'll have to shove two passengers in the trunk though. When will you set a date? Or are you waiting for people to give some feedback - just wondering?

And you might not want to drive the S2000 to this event, I'm not. The place isn't the cleanest place to park, you do have some stray paintballs that go into the parking lot, and you will get dirty. I am either bringing my ML or having my friend drive his SUV.
