Default What to realistically expect out of sale?

Hi guys,

What should I realistically expect to sell my 2007 with 820 miles and less than a month old S2000 for?

Silverstone exterior, with Black-Red interior...

perfect condition
all books and manuals etc

Expect to take a hit, unless you got some ridiculous deal. Since I know some people got theirs at near invoice, you will most likely get around $28k, maybe. Depends on your location, though.

Personally, I would need some really good incentives to pick up a used one vs. a new one. As in a couple grand worth of savings, at least.

well said paul. Unfortunately if i was to save 500 dollars by buying used...not worth it to me. I would buy new. 2 grand would persuade me a little though. Im just a single person though, not sure how it would be on the macro level. Good luck either way, i hope you choose to keep the car so you don't take a hit.

Expect to take a big hit. Anyone can walk into a Honda dealership today and walk out with a brand new S2K for less than $29K OTD.

820mi is barely broken in. Why get rid of it?

29K OTD? That's like $4000 below invoice?

Surely you meant 29k + tax & title?

Whats that saying.....as soon as you leave the lot you take a 3k hit to depreciation (non-exotics). Ferraris actually go up in price if you are lucky enough to get one without a markup.

I thought I got a pretty good deal with $28.6k + TTL = $31.5k OTD for a new 07. If he sold for $28k, that would still be $3,500 cheaper. Assuming it wasn't VTECed a lot, I would consider buying a car like that for around $28k.
