Default FS: AP2 Center Console

As the title states, I am contemplating parting with my AP2 center console to replace with some racing seats.

The console was purchased brand new and has only been installed in my car since mid May when the car was insured for the summer.

It has a rear defrost switch installed...falls between the hazard and roof switch. You also need not purchase a new hazard switch as this one comes with it.

Simple plug and play.

Prefer a local sale but will ship if necessary.

Asking $450 OBO (plus shipping if necessary).

Color? And how will this work if your defroster button is already on the dash near the ignition?

My console has the silver trim not the newer 06-07 ones with the black trim.

Pictures to follow asap

I would just use the new button in the center for something different and avoid rewiring the defroster to the console button.

I believe some guys have had trouble with using the AP2 defrost button on AP1s but it might just be because they are foolish

Does anyone know what others have used in place of the defrost switch?

That could work, but it'll be tough if your garage opener has rolling codes.
