Hey guys! Well, I got the word yesterday, I'll be joining the S2K family around the middle of May. I live in Hampton, and it is hard to get one down here, at least one with low or no mileage on it.

So I ordered a 2002 blue S2000, it is due to be built around March 20, then it ships to me! I can't wait! I did get a chance to take a VERY short test drive, but hell, I was in love even before I drove it.

Down here in Hampton Roads area, I have NEVER seen one on the roads, and I have been looking for at least 4-5 months.

So, this will be a LONG two months...

It'll be a bit quicker than that hopefully. Mine came in 1 month ahead of schedule, even the dealers were surprised when the truck pulled in their parking lot.

PS: Be prepared for the 600 miles of No-VTEC-break-in period

Yep, I sure hope so!! Meanwhile, my l'il CRX is gonna have to take up the slack! LOL

I had heard something about the 600 mile VTEC break in, what else should a newbie S2000 owner know? Any tips from the veterans woul dbe appreciated...

I am up in Hampton roads quite a bit and have never seen another one on the roads, even prior to my purchase. If you ever see a Berlina Black/Black with OR plate on rear- it's probably me. Catch up and say HI You are going to LOVE your car!!!!!

 

Yeah, I know.... I keep looking for S2Ks around here, never see any. Plenty of BMWs and Audis, even the occasional Boxter. It's surprising too with the population and especially the amount of traffic in the area.

And I will keep my eye open for you, I get down your way too every month or so...

s2ks are still pretty scarce in the hampton roads area. you'll find a couple more on the other side of the tunnel.
