We lost a friend today...
I just received a phone call from Billman informing me that DaveonLI has passed away. He was contacted by Dave's wife, Marie this morning.
It is a sad day for Metro today.
Bill will post later regarding the information for the wake and services.

What?!
So sorry to hear about this, my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family.
Ironically, a very close friend of mine passed away a few weeks ago. This is not good times for anyone.

Prayers and thoughts to Marie and their family.
When I was in need of tires he offered his car so I could pick them up.
He did a great job leading the LI convoy to Tech Day this past summer and lent me a radio so I didn't have to buy one.
I still have it, as I haven't see him since then.
He made me laugh, he made me think. He was the 'encylopedia' on the forum, always handy with information.
His love for his wife and son was evident whenever you had a conversation with him.
A real quality man...
Dave, you will be sorely missed.
