I've been thinking about delving into the world of an orbit buffer... and I've been doing some research, so I'd be interested. Two questions though: Does the tool include everything you need (ie backplate and counterweight) and what functions do these pads do?

 

yes the pc will include the edge pad adatper the bolt in the middle of the picture.

The black side of the pad is the finishing/wax pad
The white pad is the polishing side
The Green side is for med cutting.
The orange side not shown is for light cutting. (this will be on the other side of the green like the black/white pad.

The counterweight is not an issue with the PC with EDGE pad system.
