Sheriff orders review of 911 calls made regarding missing woman
Husband said he had to fight to get authorities to launch search for his wife
Woman is in critical condition after being trapped in SUV for eight days
Tanya Rider found after officials detected general location of her cell phone

SEATTLE, Washington (AP) -- A sheriff has ordered a review of the 911 calls made about a woman who spent more than a week missing before search crews found her trapped in the wreckage of her sport-utility vehicle.
A cell phone signal led investigators to Tanya Rider in her wrecked Honda Element.
2 of 3 King County Sheriff Sue Rahr's order comes after Tanya Rider's husband complained that he had to fight to get authorities to launch a search for his wife.
Tom Rider said he asked the sheriff's office last weekend to use cell phone technology to try to find his wife, but was told she couldn't be categorized as a missing person because she wasn't a minor, suicidal or mentally ill.
Authorities found the Maple Valley woman after detecting the general location of her cell phone Thursday morning, then searching along a highway southeast of Seattle. See how cell phone tracking works

Bastard!!
Seriously...this has been on the news since Sunday too...I saw images and the story this morning on CNN. Poor woman...8 days??!! I would have surely died.

All kidding aside...the ELEMENT did okay for suffering such an accident.
Poor ELEMENT.
Oh...and somehow...I think the THP is to blame for this...it's easy for everyone to see that if THP was actually on their own interstates, instead of the Dragon...this unfortunate accident would have been avoided...Nevermind that it's in a different state...just nod and agree...
