Default Buddy Club RSD

Hey guys just got these delivered and I was wondering if they are from japan or somewhere else.

I read on here that buddy club was trading under a different name in Japan and went bankrupt.

And is there is any real difference in the spring colours?

With coilovers now-a-days, everything is up in the air. We technically do not know what is what now.

From what I know (or heard) buddyclub was originated and manufactured in japan, but it was used as one of taiwanese's flag ship companies that were being used competively in there time attack vehicles.

However, My RSD's indeed said made in japan as well as there P1 Racing damper.

The N*Specs how ever, is a good street coilver as is, but is rumored to be manufactured under the same roof as the the Apexi EXV damper, Megan Damper, d2 damper, and Function n' form damper which were "rebadged" in taiwan but "technically", all revalved differnently.

By looking at your coilover though, It looks as if its not the traditional RSD colors. That is unless, buddyclub changed it up, but it apprears to resemble the same colors as the "Junior Spec Damper" which is only availble over sea's but is equivalent to an N*Spec damper here in the states.

the black coils are throwing me off though on yours which makes me jump to think they are the JR Specs but the JR specs have a chrome threading but the ones you have are black threading like the RSDs. My coils are blue and have buddy club imprinted on them

the ones you posted have pillowball upper mounts. These are the ones I have, and the additional pillowballs are about $250 more on top of msrp I believe but are optional

has anyone had issues with the lower spring collar (the one the spring sits on) hitting the upper control arm in the front? I had to mess with preload quite a bit to get it to work at a good drop height.
