Default Putting the S away properly

Hey guys, I figured id ask this group since 9/10 of us will put the S away for the snow.

How do you guys prep the car for winter?
Last yr I just drove it into the garage, parked it, pulled the battery and left it. Come spring it took a while to start and stay at a nice idle...was this ok?

Do you fill the tank with 93? Lift the car off the tires? Start it once week?

What do you guys do?

Thanks

My hardtop goes on and the tank gets filled and it is put in the garage (unheated). In the true sense of the word my car never is really "off the road" as it gets started at least once a week and if the roads are clear I may take out of the driveway down the street. It depends on how much salt/sand are on the roads. Last year I was still driving the S Xmas eve, then again I don't think it came out of the driveway from mid Jan to mid March.

I have not stored my S2K yet but did store my 98 Prelude for 9 years.

I usualy started it about every two weeks
Covered it with Honda full cover, always allowed cool down period before recovering.
Full tank in the Fall w/some Sta-bil

Oil change in the Spring to avoid any mosture in the Oil

I plan the same for my S2K

Here's what I do:

Wash and wax
Interior detail/leather conditioner
Fresh oil and filter before storage (Gets rid of acids in the old oil.)
Fill gas tank to prevent corrosion
Pull battery and hook it to maintenance charger
Leave top up, but unlatched
Over inflate tires to 40 psi
Mothballs in open dish in trunk, interior, and airbox to keep mice out
Cover with OEM soft cover

I do not start it all winter. If you start it, you have to run it a while to burn up condensation.

Overkill, but I do it to prepare for the autocross season:

Change diff oil
Change tranny oil
Flush and bleed brake fluid

Side note to Rugsr: Missed you at the autocrosses. I won the WNY Region championship!

BTW...the garage its going in is attached to the house and insulated all around w/o drywall. So it will be warm just not heated. This is fine too right?

I'm Detailing mine then taking it to North Carolina and storing it at my brothers house so he can take it out once in a while with no salt on the road and he is letting me rock his modded WRX for the winter.

Got my S in the garage this past weekend. So should I start it every two weeks or not?
