Actually there were no japanese cars in the show. But i probably could have snuck my car into the sports car section! maybe next year!!

 

I went also and took lots of photos.

This is one of the premier car shows of the southeast hosted by Mercedes Benz and now covering all the area around the lake, up the hill and a large part of the Lakeland down town area.

I was at the grand opening cerimony to see Sir Sterling Moss and some of the cars he drove on display by the lake.

I highly recomend this show and hope that next year we could organize to show a group of our cars. Car clubs are encouraged to show as a group. The organizers will set areas depending on number of cars coming. (see photo of Mustang club)

Sir Sterling Moss The Honored Guest

Sir Stirling Moss named Honorary Chairman for 2007

One of the most famous drivers in the history of international car racing, Sir Stirling Moss, will be the honorary chairman of the Mercedes-Benz Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival in Lakeland, FL on October 20th, 2007.

Moss will be available for pictures and autographs during the Concours d

 

The oldest car that I found was a 1906 Cadillac runabout with optional folding top.

Odd that I snap the owner in the car on his cell phone.
