Default Wild Day yesterday with the body shop

So to keep this story understandable I wrote it today with a calmer mindset lol. When I bought my S it was originally a New england car lots of rock chips on the front bumper which I wanted repaired by pro's. So i tired this large Franchise near me a very credible shop and had previous work done there.I got a phone call yesterday at around 3pm saying that "my car is ready". They said "you can come today or tomor to pick it up". I said "thanks i'll try for today but if not def tomor". I went yesterday and HERES THE PART THAT MADE ME FLIP!!!! I'm comming up to the shop and on this back road I see a silver S2K. My buddy goes "hey man it's a S2K" and proceeds with a ghey laugh... "I SAID F THAT THAT'S MY CAR". I eyeballed the guy he started smiling, clutched it and gave us a REV. (btw my buddy has a white 2006 A4 with a S-line package) He proceed to get on the highway in the left lane and started to take off. I gave the company my Valet key so idk if the car can perform like normal with it. But I know he couldn't get into my glove box at the least,Back to the story this is where It got CRAZY!! me and my friend did some freakin tokyo drift thru the town to beat him to the shop. ADE IT THERE FRIST and I demanded my car. The service writer didn't know why he was "testing" my car, since it was just a touch-up not a front end damage case....Well I was furious and I had numerious points why he shouldn't be driving it...
1.) No damage to front end
2.)Service performed was posted on the window
3.) It was raining (light drizzle very dangerious for the S)
4.) He's not experenced in a S vs driving SUV's and Family Sedans all day.
ECT. ECT. I went on and on, pretty much exposing him for his joyride with my car and him just being a tool with customers cars...
Finally the shop manager came out and told me. "It's all gonna be ok" and she sent me home without having to pay. So basically i'm driving around today with a perfectly painted front bumper and 500 bucks in my pocket my S is totally fine thank the GOOD LORD!!!!!!!! What a day wanted to share this event with my S2ki family

The Work....

crappy pics but you get the idea it's pretty high quality work

Even with that compensation I would be livid. Absolutely livid.

You have every right to be pissed, but at least the manager did the "right" thing by giving you the job for free (and hopfully firing the worker). I wouldn't push the issue any further, although I'd never bring my car back there to be fixed.

Glad you got a nice paint job and no damage to your car. However un-believable that people take advantage of customers cars. Just imagine how much goes on that doesn't get exposed.

thats a damn good eye you have there bro.......way to catch em while he's messing around....

these cars aren't rollercoasters where u can just strap yourself in and expect to get a joyride out of it.....especially when the roads are wet

that manager should get his priorities right and realize the consequences of having such douchebag irresponsibility in his lineup

i would so spite them and say bad things to them for future customers haha

Dude i have seem to find this is an ongoing thing, these honda dealers and the ones that fix them wether it be body work or maintence are idiots, they painted my front bumber the wrong color and told me it looked okay and i was like look you idiot inside the honda symbol its a totally different color, and preceeded to tell him its the easy way or the hard way. Needless to say they got it fixed but it still looks a little funny or maybe its in my head???

That is why I don't trust leaving the car overnight for work unless I have to. In this case, I might just drop off the bumper with the tow cover for matching purposes instead of leaving the car.
