Default New SC Option from Rotrex?

http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories....04692731&EDATE=

"Jackson Racing and Skunk2 Racing Launch KraftWerks Performance Group, LLC
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Oscar Jackson, founder of Jackson
Racing, has joined forces with David Hsu, founder of Group-A Autosports /
Skunk2 Racing, and technology entrepreneur Christopher Jenkins to create a
new company called KraftWerks Performance Group, LLC. KraftWerks designs
and manufactures Rotrex-based supercharger kits for import vehicles and
domestic and import motorcycles. The KraftWerks kits have shown gains in
excess of 100% across the entire powerband and represent the pinnacle in
forced air induction.
At the core of each KraftWerks kit is a patented Rotrex traction drive
supercharger, capable of 200,000 RPM. The proprietary design allows the
Rotrex supercharger to be lighter, smaller, quieter, cooler, and run higher
rpms than all other competing supercharges, and results in superior
efficiency, reduced emissions, and improved transient response. Oscar
Jackson explains, "We will be developing a series of kits, from CARB legal
to full race, that offer a broader, more usable power than anything on the
market. A broad power band makes for a better street and race car and
demonstrates the superiority of the Rotrex design." KraftWerks Performance
Group launches the company with kits for the Honda Fit and the Honda S2000,
and will be designing kits for a variety of vehicles ranging from Honda to
Lamborghini. KraftWerks will be displaying a 400 hp + / 280 lb-ft + (at the
wheels) Rotrex-based Honda S2000 and a 225 hp (at the wheels) Rotrex-based
Honda Fit at SEMA in the Honda booth. From Honda's booth, David Hsu adds,
"Skunk2 Racing [a Group-A company] and Oscar Jackson are famous for making
Honda vehicles run even better and faster, so it is appropriate we launch
KraftWerks with the Honda Fit and S2000."

I seem to remember he has been banging on about waiting for the Jackson Racing supercharger for ages now.

So, give it another 9 months or so for him to do a bit of reading and he may be ready to brandish his plastic

He's busy this week so might not see this, but he's going to struggle to find an excuse not to now!

I have been watching the thread. However, I'm concerned about the ability to track the car. We all know that Mikey talks a good game yet hasn't been near a track so far

It does look like another interesting option for rhd cars. That said there hasn't been a dyno posted of a fully tunedcar with a Rotrex blower yet so what they can output and what the power curve looks like has yet to be seen. It will also be interesting to see how much room for adding power there will be, the compressor is spinning very fast and increacing it's speed with a smaller pulley may put it out of its efficiency range.

IMO this post https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...post&p=11458376 is the most interesting on the thread. It is about a two speed drive for the rotrex which will allow you to get over one of the fundemental problems/characterisitcs of normal belt driven superchargers and give you boost at high and low engine speeds.

Back last night and was on the Jackson thread within 30 mins

TBH, I know there is much more I should be able to get out of the car before I consider a supercharger.
