Impressions - 1000 Miles in the CR
I've had my Black S2000 CR since the 10th and put 1,052 miles on it so far. I traded my 00' AP-1 S2000 for the CR. Here are my thoughts after 1k miles:
Handling
The handling of the CR is a significant improvement over the AP1. Body roll is reduced

The hardtop build quality is Honda perfect. It's comes off with two latches on the top of the windscreen and a pivot latch at each of the shoulders of the driver and passenger.
The seals have been perfect after driving in the rain (sometimes hard rain) for three days now.
The hardtop seals to the body with a rubber seal that runs the length. However, the suspension is not compliant and I've hit a few rough spots on the road that resulted in the hard top actually banging down on the body with a sharp whack. A bit unnerving but no damage seen after checking.
The hardtop weighs 48 pounds so it's not a problem to lift but it's awkward weight because of it's position on the car. Taking the hardtop off is a two person job unless you want to stand on the seats.
Storing the top can be problematic. The manual says not to rest the top on any of the seals (to ensure you don't distort the seal) which leaves you with setting the top down on a hard surface so it will rest on the insertion pins instead of the seals. I'm thinking about buying Honda's very expensive hard top storage rack.

How do you rate the suspension around town and on the highway compared to your AP1?

Have you ever driven an AP2?
