Amuse makes a dry carbon hardtop that mimicks the OEM hardtop. Diez is currently the only one with it on his car as far as I know.

That was kind of rude, he answered your question. Honda doesn't make anything oem carbon fiber. Thats like saying why doesn't honda make an oem carbon fiber toilet seat.

I believe the comment was directed towards ROTFLMAO and not tnguyen0567, so in his defense his response was appropriate.

Reason could be engineering or cost or both.
Could be related to lack of demand for any top regardless of material used.
OEM is aluminum. Is there any great advantage of carbon fiber over this material?
Even if weight did favor carbon fiber, are there potential buyers who would not buy anything but carbon fiber?
If Honda did decide to produce a CF top, it would probably be for other reasons and not related to any huge customer demand.

wow.. never talk like Honda is there to just baby a few s2k drivers who are eager to buy CF hardtop at Honda's great cost. I believe s2k's already costing them. I think there's absolutely not enough demand to even cover their cost if they decide to make it.
