Default Canadian 08 on E-bay

Pretty bad way to lose $10,000 in two weeks. Is this anyone's car here?

That is Nzouk77's car. He just brought it up from the US. I was just down in Atlanta picking up a truck load of H3's and Acadia's for the dealership I own, and I happend to come across a 2007 Laguna Blue Pearl with only 5000kms. It will be arriving next week and I am only going to list it for around $29000 CAD plus taxes.

so your saying you got the car in the US for around 24k then?

If not you would surely be loosing money for a 29k cdn list.

Quite a few fellows on the forum know that I am a Canadian auto dealer. That's how I make my living. I buy and sell everyday; whether it be a Cavalier bought from GMAC in Toronto or an S2000 bought from Honda America...it's all business to me. Over the past 6 weeks, it has been quite busy as far as US imports. I get over 20 calls per day from people who are looking to save some money on their next vehicle purchase. Obviously, when I import, I import as a business that needs to be profitable or my family doesn't eat. Not a single business model is derived based on a break even strategy. It certainly would not make sense to be selling an imported car at what I paid....whats the point in that. Actually, the 2008 that is mentioned earlier in this thread originally could have been imported by my company. As luck would have it, he was able to source one himself. But not everyone has the time or the effort to bring it in themselves. Regardless of what I paid for the car, add to that transport, duty fees, RIV, and a variety of other expenses...guess what, $29000 is not much over cost really and it certainly is several thousand lower than what a Canadian sourced 2007 S2000 with 5,400 kilometres would fetch at auction or retail for that matter here in Ontario.

Good points made.
Do you have a dealer website listing inventory?
