Default my 8k installation -dash cutting to fit double DIN

Alpine W202 in dash, with customised benzel (take note my is a RHD JDM model ) - full GPS options, BT, reverse sensors/camera

Alpine H701 (in boot, hidden behind customised board)

Alpine 6CD changer (boot right side visiable

Seas Lotus reference series components, using the new rf27 tweeters, hooked up to a pair of audison VRX 4.300 amp ( display in boot) running 2 way active.

tweeters on customised A-pillar using tweeter pods

stock HU location opens up to reveal sunglass holding compartment with ipod, sunglass storage space.

13 inch Focal sub in toolwell with sealed box using available toolwell space, with Steg 2 channel amp( he will do the matching),

panel with spare tire removed for amps displays and cdchanger installed.

Acumat 2 layers for front doors, dash, and floor, and boot .

this setup costs 8k including labour. probably overkill but considering the extensive work put in, including real time simulation of driving condition top up and down, plus they are the regional winner for some sound competitions, i am pretty much confident in the end result , which i will only be able to audit myself come sat.

Not a huge fan of how the double din is stuck onto the dash. I like th recessed look better, but good work otherwise.

I agree....I'm not huge on the screen install, but if you like it, that's all that matters. Everything else looks good. Audison FTW.

Agreed. dbl- Din looks weird sitting out like that. Also, those tweeters look out of place.

Looks awesome, when you say $8k install are you including all the audio equipment you bought as well as install?

8 grand for a car stereo? in a (noisy) convertible? a convertible that's supposed to be lightweight and minimalist?
