Default front bumper

Does anyone know the going rate for a new front bumper? I got into an extemely minor fender bender with a deer tonite and ended up with a small crack in my bumper along the passenger side wheel well. I will need a new bumper and paint i guess. Stupid deer. I want to pay out of pocket for the bumper and paint because i cannot deal with a premium increase at this point. Stupid insurance.

Thanks

Matt

Honda replacement parts come unpainted, you'll need a body shop too. I'd guestamate about $500 when everything is said and done.

one word: no. no aftermarket bumpers that are any less than that. and you'll still need to get it painted, so it will run you a few hundred more than the bumper itself.

most aftermarket bumpers - like the J's or the Mugen (not so smiley face one) is a half-bumper which will only cover up the lower half of the front fascia. the only full bumpers that i know of would be the C-West, Veilside, and the Mugen (big smiley), which are all over 500 bucks for just the piece itself.

what gives with all the bumper damage. Strange trend in the last few weeks - lots of posts with people having these small accidents.

Be careful...Do a search under my user name and you'll have a good idea on what to do before you go in to the Body shop.
