Default Greddy Turbo Kit 06-09 DBW

Just wanted to start up this thread to let you all know that the 06-08 Greddy turbo kit will go into testing Monday Feb 24th. I will update this thread periodically with new information since i know MANY of you are waiting for this kit! I get pm's consistently about this. Feel free to use this thread to post up about any questions or concerns that you might have as well. Testing for this will probably be a lengthy process, so don't expect an update daily, but i will definitely be here to answer any questions about it. Those of you considering other options, i hope you hold out and wait for this kit, as it will most likely be CARB legal as well.

-Chris

update: CARB EO#: D-397-10

The kit is officially CARB legal for 06-09 models!

Update: 12/30/08
part number: 11550042
Greddy CARB legal S2000 turbo kit for 06-08 has officially been released.

Just about time!
The price advantage of this kit is very tempting.
It'll be interesting to see the real world performance comparison between the Kraftwerks SC.

Don't hold your breath against the Kraftwerks. Turbo can not survive track temperatures and even street in the southwest summers. I wouldn't expect >300hp anyway.

I'm not sure about how it'll handle heat at the track, but hitting over 300whp won't be hard at all.

Update: 2/14/08

Well the kit is on the 06...now we need to do testing. Overall, the kit is a lot simpler to install on the 06 due to the fewer parts. The Fuel rail is a lot easier to get off, and the lack of an air pump gets rid of a bunch of steps in the TK install (relocating air pump, extending hose). Also, the pressure sensor doesn't need to be relocated. We are going to find out if we will need an upgraded fuel pump. If we end up not needing a fuel pump, this kit could be even cheaper than the 00-05 kits due to all the parts not needed!

Nice.

Question, why did the pressure sensor need to be relocated in the 00-05's?
