Post Motor Swap Prog

ok peeps, here it is the 2.2 is in my03, everything is ready to go but i have a question, the newer style crank sensor had a diff connection so i used my old crank sensor, but i have a dilema, the old crank sensor has a ding on it , so im thinking when im trying to start the car the reason it wont start is because of that ding in the sensor, it turns over makes loud popping noises but doesnt start just turns over, here are the pics of my first ever swap...oh i think im the first to convert DBW back to cable???? i dont know who cares hopefully with the new crank sensor it will run again

if anyone can help me with that sensor prob or give me some ideas that would be great, maybe ill post a video of it friday, oh and im rechecking my grounds aswell

They changed the crank sensor from a two wire (00-05) to the three wire (06+). So yes, you needed to swap it out.

So what are you using for an ECU? Can you list what you have installed/swapped in detail?

Thanks

the ap1's are 8mm bolts... but if you have an ap2 tranny, just remove out output flange on the tranny and get an ap1 flange... it costs about 30-40 dollars and saves you a big hassle!
