So I was driving past beaverton Honda today and they have a yellow CR in the window. I've seen it there a few times. It looked different today. It looks like some 'jenius' decided it would move faster with a lambo door kit. Sorry I didn't get pictures. If I'm thinking I will snap some tomorrow.

I saw it at Beaverton Honda a few weeks ago and looked normal. I guess they need gimmicks to move them...too bad.

They come in 4 colors, Apex Blue, Berlina Black, GPW, and Rio.

 

Richard Lenard the general manager of beaverton honda wanted to do something different with the car. He added the aem intake and also the lambo doors. Talked with some people at honda about it and they said the lambo doors are a huge mistake. They are great for show cars but not for everyday use. The doors dont line up and begin to sag as there is not enough support for the door with the design of the hinges. Parker Johnstone had looked into this and also found the same thing out. Looks cool but bad choice. I bring this up because I was going to put them on the S until I did some research. Not only that look at what they are charging for this stuff. Give me a break.

^They don't look good. And the CR is supposed to be a track car. Look the CR isn't going to sell well so they are doing something gimmicky. Pretty sad. The S2000 is a very capable platform, with some simple mods, and tacky doors are not one of them.

 

You may be thinking of the Mugen Si...that only comes in fiji blue.

 

I saw that yellow CR with lambo doors today on the way to the bank, i don't dig the doors too much kinda weird to me, i think they have a blue one in there also.
