Angry I want your GODS HONEST opinion

"Invidia's are too loud, you have to wear earplugs on the highway, blah blah blah fukity blah"

How loud is this exhaust, HONESTY?? Is it tolerable in a DD? Do you EVER regret having it? Does your chick bitch incessantly about it? Do your neighbors hate you? Do you hate your purchase, or do you love it? If you had to do it all over again, would you buy the same invidia again, or get something else? Be truthful, because I've heard every hater on here tell me it's too loud, but none of them have the invidia themselves...

OWNERS only please provide your truthful statements...no heresay from the naysayers please, I can get that in the 80 gazillion other threads bitching that they're too loud.

In person I've only heard it once in a WRX. He threw a couple revs. I thought it sounded pretty cool. Kinda like a cranky grandma, but that's pretty cool because I love my grandma. You didn't post an option for "I don't own it but I like it", which is what I would've voted for.

IMO it sounded great, the volume was the problem. The volume in the cabin with the stock cat on was very loud and it was in the passenger seat. After getting a TP the sound was louder but it was all behind you. I'm sure my neighbors hated me even though I always took it easy coming in. I personally would not DD this exhaust. Others love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. I ended up selling mine. For what it's worth it was a very nice exhaust and well made, just too loud for me. YMMV. Hope this helps.

The exhaust note that a WRX makes, is entirely different than how an S2000 sounds...

You would truly have to hear an Invidia Exhaust on an S2000 in order to really comprehend how it sounds on an S2000.. Believe me when I say that... lol

2 things you have to remember about a WRX that makes it sound different from an S2000, by default..... A) it's a boxer-flat 4cylinder (completely different sound in all).... and B) it's a turbocharged engine, therefore, the exhaust has to be spun through the turbo before making an exit to atmosphere. Those are two definate things that you must take into consideration before trying to compare one brand/make of an exhaust, but trying to justify the sound it makes by comparing that one exhaust but on two different vehicles.

IMO, the Invidia sounds mean.... shoot, just listen to mine... give me a week or two to post a video, but yea, 4-1 header, 70mm test pipe, and Dual V3 Invidia w/ Single exit conversion.... damn = sex.

but, that's just me.. my S is my DD, and I happen to live in a decently upscale community, so when I'm driving through my neighborhood coming to/from work, its a little loud and sort of echos off the houses and trees.... but, on the freeway, can't really say yet... haven't driven her on the freeway just yet.. i don't care what my gf thinks really.. she's into cars also, so she naturally loves it.. hahaha

my $.02

Great exhaust IMO and honestly, if you ever plan to get rid of it to upgrade, it's easy to sell it off with a quick turn around... (basically, its just a fast-mover really...)

Holla!!!!!! Hope you get it mang!!! you won't be dissapointed!!

At wide open throttle it sounds as good as the Amuse r1000, but the drone makes the OEM radio worthless and having conversations while yelling at the person next to you is annoying as hell.

I sold mine after 1 month of ownership and the only thing I miss is the sound at WOT without any police within earshot (in this case about 3 mile radius ) For a DD unless you have bad hearing it will start to drive you crazy and could even give you headaches if you drive very far

This is very much depending on what you use the car for.

If mine was a garage queen that went out every once in a while on a weekend or track day, I wouldn't care how loud it is. If it was a DD, hell no.

I'm a former owner Nate...you know my single T1R 63mm...it is quieter than an invidia. Angel will hate your car if you buy the invidia.

There are probably some folks in Orlando who have an invidia for you to ride in to give a test listen.
