I bought my 'S' before I knew about the roof wear problems and, on mine it was already there when I bought it. I hadn't noticed it in the dealership.
Got a replacement roof, with glass instead of plastic window from Carhoodwarehouse.
It was nice to see that they've reinforced the areas of the roof where the wear occurs. Can't see the problem happening again.

Although I am

Thanks for this. The single sheets have sold out now but I got 6 sheets for a fiver plus postage. A lot cheaper than a new roof.

Cheers

Thanks for the tip, just had a look & started to wear a bit so stuck about a 1/2" by 2" piece of fluffy velcro stuff on the wear spots (10mm tops) for the time being.

However, found me some other tears at the bottom of the roof where it meets the body work. As if where the B-Pillar would be.

Any tips or ideas on how to fix, reduce getting worse etc?
