CDV removal (2/16) in Irvine 9am - All spots taken
Saw this idea in another thread and thought it was a great idea.
Anyways, like kuni, I'm looking for someone who knows their stuff cause I dont wanto be drenched in Brake Fluid and etc. I imagine the workload will be 50/50... maybe 60/40 or 80/20 if you get me a godiva choc cheese cake
If we do it at my place I can probably only accept 3-4 people as I live in a Apt in Irvine and only have a single car garage.
I'll probably do the initial teardown the night before and pull the snap ring just to make sure I can do it. After that I'll need some help bleeding my clutch and will move on to the others. I'm pretty mechanically adept so I'm sure I can do it... heck I did my own turbo install so this should be cake.

what is the big deal with cdv? my car shifts fine and i dont notice any delay. without the cdv, where do you land on the 1-2 shift?
I guess we should switch this around. How about 9am-10am? Prob is I dont want to spend all sat afternoon working on cars.
As for the picks, I already got a nice set. I will be VERY shocked if the CDV snap ring can break these.
Beb, your welcome to come.
I imagine the rest of the spots are gonna fill up quick now
