Default T1R 70 Titanium

A while back I had seen a post I think it might have been Maxrev on how to hold the two pieces of the T1R 70 RT together with a sleeve and 2 clamps and I believe dremeling the small hooks off.....

Wanted to know if anyone can direct me to the link.....

TIA!!

Why? There is no need to clamp them together. The rear piece slips over the front piece. How do I know? I have the exhaust. Or should I say "had" before I bent the piss out of the back section last weekend.

Because one of the 3 clamps is broken off and there is a hole where the clamp used to be......I didnt want to use the other clamps to hold it together and wanted to cover the hole.

Okay, but I never used anything to hold it together- just slip over the other piece. As for the hole, I'm sure you can find a metal band/sleeve wide enough to cover it.

Maybe something like this would work, just don't use the o-rings.

Damn, that's expensive if I read that right!

I say just get a piece of piping, have it "stretched" by a shop, and clamp it on.
