Default Ok, Honda MTF or Redline MT90/MTL Mix?

Ok I have two options here, right now I drained my old honda fluid not the new one and replaced with GM Synchromesh FM and it felt slightly better but now after 1,500 miles on it it's starting to breakdown now. I have been to many stores trying to find Redline mtl/mt90 but not that many places carry it but I can order it off line for around $10 a bottle of each and mix it or I can go to my honda dealership and pick up two quarts, now which one would you folks recommend in your experience. I also searched but some prefer the honda while alot more prefer the redline. Thanks. If anyone has any comments on the royal purple sychromesh that would be great too thanks.

Some ways I will try to take the notchyness out of my car is to , adjust the clutch push rod via peddle and do a clucht fluid flush then tranny, thanks.

If you want to take the notchiness away, try adusting your seat position or the way you shift. I personally think Honda MTF is what you should use.

Honda MTF for smooth shifts. It last long too compared to GM Synchromesh Friction Modified. I was changing the Synchromesh within 10k miles because the shift smoothness would fade off. The Honda MTF gets changed every 15k, but the shifting is still smooth at that interval.

I used pennzoil synchromesh fluids for about over 3000 miles, did not like so I changed it. I also used royal purple synchromax fluid. Too early to tell. I do not have the notchy transmission shift on my car but when it is really cold below o celcius. I have to shift slowly from first to second gear. In my opinion royal purple synchromax is similar to gm synchromesh. I have not used red line manual fluid. I have the new honda mtf and will use it at the end of this year to compare. I also believe one should change the transmission fluid anually to obtain good result unless you track the car.

I might be paranoid but i think I'm going to change mine every other oil change, it's only like $11 so why not, I think I might do my differential oil every other change too cause this is the first nice car that I own, I was also in the autoparts store today cause I love car stuff and I was debating on puting the mobile1 75w90 in or try the amsoil 75w90 any ideas? I just want to make sure this car will last cause i'm 20 and it costed me $16k!

MTL is entirely different from MT90, call them and ask what is better. Both are good products, but the new Honda fluid is very good..
