My First s2k started out intake/exhaust/testpipe/vafc, 202whp/147wtq.

Removed all that useless crap. Comptech Supercharger/Exhaust, 310.7whp/180wtq.

Now with my 06' I can't see spending any money if it's not going to be a form of forced induction. Just waiting right now to see what greddy does with the DBW kit.

Anyhow, cars sounds sick and keep up the good work.

Tell me more about your VAFC. What model, etc.
I have one in mine, but have all settings set null since my first attempt to tune was a disaster. My car ran like crap after the first tune attempt. The engine would shut off at 6k.
How is it wired... harness?
Where tuned?
And, lastly, do you believe that the VAFC is worth it in the AP2?
I'm currently putting down a recorded 202 HP with VAFC null.

... I want to know about AP2 application.
My VAFC is doing nothing more than showing throttle and RPM display. Nothing is set. Please don't take this wrongly... but I want to know from those who have experience with the Apexi II. Don't respond if you "think" you know. I want to KNOW.
I still see other S2000s pulling away in the straights. Will the VAFC, APEXi II help horsepower in an AP2, NA engine?
I want every bit of power I can harness out of this engine so that I can pull in the straights.

from what they told me at the shop, i only gained 1 ft-lbs of tq and no hp gain..but the adjusted a/f ratio in the midrange and as u can see in the dyno sheet its alot better change over to vtec. it feels alot better too. pulls very even and strong across the board. it was tunned at import powerhouse and its the first gen vafc. and ill have to get back to u on the settings...also just a side note, i went back to the dragstrip after the tune and did a 13.66@101mph...still feathering the clutch off the line...so WELL worth it...

and yes..i am using the harness.....
