Thank you Larry, Debbie, Aaron, Theresa, Mike, Sherry, Amy, Jim, Hue, Marc, Jett, Glen, and Richard for your company and wonderful drive on what became a nice day.

Sorry for the little side-track going into St. John's I intentionally wanted to take the scenic route to show our club. Thanks Mike for helping me find the way back to Germantown Rd.

Hopefully everyone had a great time. The upcoming season is just about to start and there's going to plenty of fun trips and adventures with our S!!!

Here are some pictures. (It maybe a better camera but I need to learn how to use it )

At McDonalds:

At the Dundee Bistro

On our way back

Richard always on my tail
Glen with the only NFR S in OR. (Our hex is over )
Hue cruising down the highway (sorry pix wasn't so clear Sandi's fault)
Jett, I just notice your S has eyelids
Jim and his S coupe
Larry with Mike on his tail
Marc speeding up so he can race and beat me. Just you wait mister, Supercharger is on the way.

Mike with the CF hood
Amy, another "primer grey" S j/k

Here are some more pictures that show Amy's S was not as clean as we thought.

Hopefully everyone had a great time. The upcoming season is just about to start and there's going to be plenty of fun trips and adventures to share with your S!!!

See everyone at the Mt. Hood drive

You bet I'm dedicated Larry! There's no way I'm going to miss a chance to kick it with the group and explore the state. It's always great to see everyone again. Jett, Glenn and Rich, it was nice of you to join us and give us a chance to get to know you! I do have to say, Jett...I LOVE the sound of the Megan exhaust.

This was a great way to prep for the coming season. It really hit the spot! A sign of good things to come with this kind of turnout so early.

Larry/Huy...an excellent drive plan again as always.

I would have had these pics up sooner but the gallery upload was giving me fits. The pics are all out of order now thanks to the errors I was getting and I shrunk them down a little more than I would like just to get them to GO, so just pretend I know what I'm doing here

Teresa started taking pics at North Plains, so here they go:

A few various road shots:

This "floating tree" entertained me greatly. I dunno why, but I just love it!

MMM, Lunchtime! I really liked the Bistro. It was a pretty interesting selection of food, but very tasty.

On our way back out again. Naturally, I enjoyed sitting in the center lane watching everyone stare and wave as they drove by. I think it's one of the main things I like about group drives...the looks people give.

Tried to get a shot of Marc as he went by, but he's just too fast!

I caught his rear end though!

And a few goodbye shots as we made our way down the highway.

Even got a couple nice shots of Mt. Hood on the way back

The main road around Hood was pretty much clear of gravel. The shoulders still had quite a bit, however. I think by next month we should be pretty solid for Plan A if it doesnt snow any more.

Oh, and even if I was justified, I felt horrible showing up in a dirty car when everyone else was so clean. Stupid snow on the Santiam.

I think a detailing day would be a lot of fun (maybe not for everyone), provided we can find a Metro member with enough room for people to show up. I would be happy to bring plenty of polishes and waxes (I have a cart full) and my PorterCable.

Can't you guys cut the loser girl a break??? Geez...if it's not one thing it's another. Thanks Aaron, for not making fun of my dirty wheels and tail pipe.

Yes, we better have "Detail day", as a matter of fact, we can have it at my house if you can't find anywhere else to have it, I have enough room for all the S2K's, we can just line them up on my lawn. I have a couple of acres so there's plenty of room.

It was REALLY nice to see everyone. Always great to see Larry & Debbie, Huy & Sandi, Aaron & Theresa, Mike & Sherry, Marc (next time bring the wife), Hue, and Jim. And it was great to meet Jett, Glenn & Richard.

I'm looking forward to next month already. I wonder what you guys are going to be picking on next month...you have a whole month of think about it.

Looks like it was a good turn out. Nice pictures. Sorry I missed it, had to work.

Looks like Amy needs to do a little better on the detailing.

See everyone next month.

It's nice to see that you all had a great time. I was at work until 1:30.

I was just up on the mountain today skiing and agree with Aarons's assessment that the road should be fine come April for the Mt. Hood drive.

See you all next month.

We are looking forward to that!

It should be a good one. Thanks for your help on determining the route.

Looks like a great turnout. I had to do a double take on the NFR. Thanks for the pics; almost makes me feel like I was there

Still hoping I can make Mt. Hood, it looks like it's going to be good one.
