Default Magnaflow exhaust fit? Nice vid too!

Here is the exhaust I am looking for:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVYwGbaV_pw

This is what I believe it to be:
http://www.planetmagnaflow.com/shop/...15831-259.html

It says it fits 2001-2005. I called to ask if it will fit my 2007 and they said no. What is different on my 2007 that a would not let this fit?

I was going to buy this but I went FI so I went with the Invdia 70mm dual. The FI should make it a bit more quite. You can get the system for around $550 if you look around. There is one guy who did put it on a newer model car but had to take it to a muffler shop to get it to fit. For the money it seems like a great system.

The exhaust tunnel is different 06 and up.I have magnaflow on my 06. It fits, but it rubs. I took mine to a muffler shop after I put it on. The guy trimmed a little here, and added a little there, to make it fit better. Then welded it all together, eliminating the clamps. It works, sounds(a bit loud at 1st), and looks great. Cost me $70.00.
As far as price to buy, I got it for $578.00 shipping & tax included. http://www.hottexhaust.com . They had an option to make an offer. I offered $575, they wrote back with a counter offer of $578. Couldn't pass it up, came to my door in 5 days with christmas in the middle...
I have K&N FIPK, it works great with the exhaust. Together they add nice mid-range power and TQ.

Thanks for the help guys. I like the sound of this exhaust(per the vid) because it does not sound ricey. Also, close to stock look.
norain, is this vid a good representation of the exhaust sound?

Yes it sounds a lot like the vid. I listened to it as well as some others on youtube before I bought mine. Not ricey at all, very deep. A bit loud at first... seems like it has calmed down some as carbon has built up a little.
It does look good, since the muffler shop tweaked it some. When I first put it on the tips didn't line up even. The muffler guy said kits rarely fit perfect, even more so with duals. I highly suggest just letting a shop put it on since it has to be tweaked some any way. Tell them you you want to be there in the shop when they do it. At least I wanted to... If they are good they won't care.
You may want to get a gasket, for between the cat. and your new kit, from the dealer before hand. Mine didn't come with one... had to make a 2nd trip to the shop to put it in.
Good luck, PM me if you have any other questions and/or when you get it installed. Would like to hear your opinion after you have it on.
