UPDATE: I ordered another batch
and have quite a few available! So, if you'd like some
scroll down and see my post on how to order! !

First of all I know others here are doing this!

Headrest Wind Blocker - is a piece of Lexan placed in the opening
of the seat behind your head. It's purpose is to reduce the amount
of air that blows on the back of your head.

I went to a local Lexan manufacturing facility with the intention of
buying some material, going home, make a template, cut it out, sand
the edges and install it on my car. (my car only!)

However, after talking to them for awhile, they said that they could
make a template and have one of their hi-tech milling machines cut
some of these if I would be willing to purchase a small quantity of them.

So, here's where you come in, they could do a minimum of 10 to 20 sets (a pair)
for approximately $18 to $20 per pair.

Would you be interested in this???

My goal is to get a set for me and for some of you if you're interested.
I'm NOT doing this as a "money making business venture"!!

Post your comments here, e mail or PM me.
If there's enough interest I would pay for the batch and distribute to you.

Let me know.

Thanks!

I will also add that Ross is the one that got me thinking
about this after reading his thread about how he's doing this!

Thanks Ross!

Why would you want to do this? It is hot enough in there with the top down with air blowing through?

Interested, but does this fit behind the headrest plastic mesh? I have rick's headrests. BTW how do you plan on affixing these pieces?

If you have Rick's headrests there is no point in getting this!

The Lexan sits behind the black mesh in the headrest and is held
in place by the plastic piece on the back of the seat around the opening.

No glue, straps, velcro or tools required!!!

Sorry, no digital camera!! I know, I'm in the dark ages!

They are almost invisible! It's just a sheet of clear Lexan behind the black mesh in the headrest.
