Default Will Infinity Reference 6022si fit?

Has anyone tried these speakers?

http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Ite...1086022si&tp=95

Crutchfield says they won't fit, but they say that for a lot of speakers to that do fit, so I'd like to verify this before purchasing.

Also, any other opinions on these speakers, I will be running them with an aftermarket headunit, with NO amp. They have a sensitivity of 93.4 dB, so I though that was pretty good for nothing having an amp. Would you recommend something else?

Crutchfield is doing 50% off the purchase of a second Infinity speaker, so I was thinking of picking this up before April 30th for that deal.

Also, would these work for the tweeters: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-a6Zgd8uaUR5/A...21t&cc=01&wm=cl

Thanks!

i Brought some inifnity reference 6020 and i had to cut the basket.

the holes do line up with the brackets they give you. Which are just some steel brackets which will make the holes line up with the oem basket.

i feel i need to post the obvious

you're fitting after-market speakers to improve the sound quality right. well if it doesn't fit, then modify the door to make it fit. sacrifice the door to fit the speaker right and enjoy good sound quality

who cares if it doesn't fit, make it fit

there's no such thing as doesn't fit!

I have the same speaker in my Xterra in the rear doors. They are powered off the head unit only. They play fine at moderate levels, but you really can't push stereo internal amps hard enough to overcome road noise, when compared to even a small amplifier.

The front speakers are Infinity 6.5" components and they are powered by an Alpine amp; the difference is night and day to the rear speakers.

I was one of the people recommending against using the 2-ohm Infinitys
without an amp, but I recently noticed that Crutchfield claims that these
2-ohm speakers are "compatible with all factory and aftermarket stereos"
apparently with Infinity's belssing. From Infinity's website:
