Default 2008 MT HOOD DRIVE PHOTOS

....

Our 2008 Mt. Hood drive is in the books. We had our route blocked by a police roadblock, we got rained on a couple of times, we terrorized a couple of small towns along the way, we blasted the soot out of a few tunnels, our group got split up a few times, Marc spooked a herd of Llamas with his exhaust, and we learned how to turn a line of 16 cars around on narrow streets and dirt roads! Most of all, we had fun. Here is the link for the original drive post: Here

Here are some photos from this year's drive.

The lineup at McDonalds:

Aaron doing some last minute polishing:

Amy receiving a gift from Jim for next weekend's Detail Day:

New cars: Duc's Suzuka and Chris's Indy

The new guys: ....
Garret - Rich - Duc - Richard - Chris ....(Welcome!)

Historic Columbia River Highway:

At the Gorge lookout:

Amy jumping for joy that she gets to go on another drive:

... Doug & Marjene ... / ...Chris

...Rich ... / ...Amy

...Marc ... / ...Mike & Sherry

The lineup at Parkdale:

Checking out the lineup:

A farmer looking at the cars:

At Full Sail for lunch:

Cute waitress: (Doug is also in this picture)

What...? It's only 7 beers!

On the way back to Portland - by Beacon Rock:

Thanks to all who attended! We are looking forward to a good Stonehenge drive in three weeks!

...

And, finally, a sobering and graphic example of what TOO MUCH S2000 driving can do: ...(beware!)

Waiiit a minute! Yellow car, Enkei RF1s... I wasn't there... but my car was? Oh, no wait. There's no bumper scuff from the hit and run I got dinged with this weekend. Whoops.

Srsly though, who's the person with the impeccable taste?

That "other" person with impeccable taste is Chris who drove all the way down from Everett, Washington to join us.

He is hoping to join us on our upcoming drives as well!

Maybe you'd better work on that bumper so you aren't "shown up"!
