Default S2000 Sales pass the 100,000 mark!

I have been tracking Honda S2000 sales since the beginning. Not an easy task. USA sales are readily available. Data for Australia after 2001 dried up. Japan & Europe dried up after 2004. Canada after 2005. Sales of the AP2 cars have steadily declined each of the past four years; not unexpectedly as we roll in to the 10th year. None-the-less the S2000 is nearing a milestone. My known count of total sales through March is 97,565 cars. I firmly believe we will see a PR announcement before yearend that the car hit 100,000.

UPDATE: Title change to reflect known sales have passed the 100,000 mark. Known sales through Mar are now at least 102,314.

, Dave.

If someone wants to break a record and make it 100,001, I'll take one in yellow.

Dave,

How many of the 97,565 are US sales?

Dave, 2 questions if I may,
- Do you keep a master on going listing of the number of S2k per year? If so, where can I find this?
- Lastly, is there a list where I can find to date how many CR where been manufactured?

My records are on a personal spreadsheet that's not available to the public.

I have no access to records by model, such as the CR. That would only be available to someone working at Honda's headquarters.

They must resell a lot of them! Everybody knows they are a limited production car, and Honda is only going to make a few thousand of them.
