Default July 12 Longboat /Siesta/Casey Key cruise!

Sorry guys, gonna cancel, not enough response!
Cruise: Start in Bradenton and drive South through Longboat Key and St. Armands circle, then quick jaunt to downtown and back over to Siesta Key (short but fun through the village), jump back on 41 for a short while and then cruise down Casey Key (ritzy).

Should take a couple hours, and with a bunch of S2000s is likely to garner some nice attention.

We can finish up with a picnic or find a cool little restaurant or something to eat at......there's a Buffalo Wild Wings on Clark Rd. with a decent sized parking lot.

Or even better, we could stop and swim in the warm Gulf waters!

Meet at 9:30am HERE

Route Map!

We'll leave Lowes at 10am, sharp

Let's see who can make it!

1) Indyana
2) s2kbenztech is being a bum and not gonna come
3) slidzhapply
4) Tomtom
5) itsnoe30

I like the idea but, let me add just a little suggestion to it. The third Sat of every month (July 19th) is the infamous Cars & Coffee (in the CLW-Largo area) shindig and it starts at 7:00 AM and is over at 9:00 AM. Maybe we can all start here and then head over to the Lowes but, may have to back up the starting time just a squosh to allow for travel time to get over there from the 1st gig. This would make for a killer day and one that is well deserved.

I think I'm gonna keep it this date, for me being up in St. Pete by 7am, then doing this cruise, would be a really long day, haha.

This is the kind of deal that could be done by 3pm, so that your whole afternoon isn't toast.

Just a tip: It gets awfully hot for group drives during the summer. Early morning or evening drive are way more comfortable. Our winery tour last June 23 was just plain HOT.

I know and agree. Fortunately, this cruise goes all along the beach, so the nice beach breeze will greet us, as well as the fact that traffic moves consistently and it's not all stop and go

The wusses can put their tops up and ride with a/c on! (or ride with a/c on with the top down )

Should be a great cruise though.
