Default Need help getting Wheelchair to Wisconsin

Hello all

I am Keith Buisse a very long time S2000 owner, actually one of the very first ever. I may have met some of you at the dragon throughout the years. I was at the first S2kdays back in April 2001. I was the guy who got the first ticket on the dragon, on camera.

Anyways, in February I went snowmobiling with other S2kers and had an accident and broke my back. A day I hope no one ever has to go through. Since then I have been in a wheelchair. I still have my S and plan on converting it with hand controls ( a big task).

A wonderful women in Lewisburg W.V. is giving me a bunch of handicap equipment for a very gracious price. It is two wheel chairs, one is a power chair worth lots. Then there is a metal stand up frame and some other things too. One fellow S2ker set a shipper there today 6-27 but they would not take the stuff un-crated. So I need to get the stuff to the Milwaukee area hopefully with the help of the forums.

What would be nice is if someone here could go to Lewisburg with a truck and rent a U-Haul 5x8 cover trailer. Then meet up with someone from my area half way, or whatever works out.

Is there someone here that can help? Please post in the link I added here in the Midwest forum.

I appreciate any help that you all could provide.

I posted a link to this thread in the Vintage forum.

Vintage members are from all over the country, so maybe someone will be able to lend a hand.

Sorry to hear of your injury.

Hello

It took me awhile to find this thread, sorry bout that.

I have updated the thread in the midwest forum.

There is IBMcpa who has offered to drive there and pick up the stuff with his trailer.
I would still like it if someone in W.V. could help out by loading this in a U-Haul and bringing it part of the way to the North. But I do not know anyone there, and there local forum seems to be abit quite.

Here is the link to my original post in the midwest forum

Thanks to all the concern and support. Follow that thread for updates. But I will come here to.

Thanks
Keith Buisse
