All,

Of late (the last year or so) there seems to have been a turn for what I would consider the worse in the Corner. I've seen a lot of not just useless, but mean spirited threads crop up. Uselessness I can deal with, but there's no reason for unmitigated meanness.

We've historically been a rather odd bunch and even a bit tough on the newbies, but mean in spirit is not something that has typically defined us. Unfortunately, that seems to be an increasing problem.

Here is my one and only warning. Every time I log in and read a mean spirited and unwarranted post, I will immediately lock the thread and submit the originators name to be banned for a week. I don't care if you're an old timer, a newbie or anyone in between. PWA members are not excepted from this.

You start an unprovoked mean thread and you're on vacation. Period!

i'm serious, i've been mean, although I stand by my meanness in most cases, brant makes an excellent point and it shouldn't be allowed to sink.
