I am starting a new thread so that we can get a head count of people that want to come to the breakfast and car show on the 22nd of June and then on to Kirkwood for lunch and then around to North shore Tahoe and stay overnight and then to Sunnyside Cafe on the waterfront for lunch and then to comtech for demo on the afternoon!!!This will be open to all owners and enthusiasts who would like to come along!! Elk Grove Honda will host the breakfast and will give away a gift certificate for $500.00 in parts/accessories. They will also have the parts and service managers with all kinds of special pricing just for us!! Master techs will also be here to answer any questions I realize that this will not be the national meeting but will be just as fun!! Station will be handling the accommodations and pricing. I'll take care of the lunch arrangements and of course breakfast! I will also have publicity and traffic issued handled!! We have a very cool route lined up with something for everyone. I want everyone to respond to this thread rather than the other one I started so I can get an accurate count. Of course ,any input from you all would be great and a few volunteers to be group leaders etc!! Blair

I will post more details soon about the accomodations. I called Comptech today (they never called me back last week) and they aren't sure they will do the open house. They told me to call back on Thursday. I'd like to be able to tell them we have a ton of people going so that we may make it worth their while. Please post if you plan on attending. As for me, I decided against the track event. Maybe someday, but the car is too new. I just can't bring myself to do it yet .

 

Count me in for this! I was bummed to hear that S2KDays '02 was cancelled (which I was going to attend). I'd like to watch the Friday track session, attend the breakfast at Elk Grove Honda, and do the Kirkwood group drive. However, I'll drive back "down the hill" after the drive but attend the open house at Comptech.

Anything I need to do for the event?

 

Ditto what Silver Bullet said. I'm in and plan to visit T-Hill on Friday (just to watch and talk to people). The Saturday drive sounds great, but because of the kids, we'll be heading back home Saturday afternoon (we'll probably break loose from the rest of the pack at Tahoe and take 50 back down to El Dorado Hills). The open house at Comptech is also a go for me.

By the way, what time are you guys planning to start breakfast on Saturday? It'll take us 30 minutes to get to Elk Grove Honda, so hopefully it won't be too early.

It looks like I will have to work Sat. I was wondering if I could meet up with the group for lunch Sunday and follow along to Comtech.
