Default Rick's website status

Apparently it take 24-72 hours to propagate (correct term I think) a new DNS or IP address. Rick's will be down a few more days because of this. We will return, hopefully, by Wednesday afternoon/evening.

We are not having any other problems, just fyi, just a hosting snafu.

Thanks everyone for your past and future business with us!!

Regards,

James Mullins & Rick Hesel (currently traveling)

Yep, figure 72 hours until the changes have taken hold everywhere if you changed DNS servers or hosting providers. However, if all you did was change your IP address and you manage your own DNS servers (at DirectNic or whomever your registrar is and if they provide you with the ability to do that) then the change is pretty much instantaneous with the exception of people who's ISP's run a caching appliance.

FYI: Your site works fine here.

PS. Dude, where's my console cover?

Doesn't work fine here in the northern middle of the country.

Thanks for your patience, everyone.

I was at Townsend Leather yesterday. Glove fit console covers begin shipping today, with the oldest orders shipping first. They will be going out steadily over the next weeks or so until we have fulfilled all the back orders. You will receive an email from me or James when your order ships.
