Default Soft Top Repair

Hey guys. Normal soft top tear, about an inch a a half. Clawson told me Honda says to F off. Are there any upholstry shops in the area to get it sewn or patched. I'm not dropping $1500 or so for a new top.

I think since all of us have the exact same tear we should all go down there together and show them that its in the same location. I have a way with people. I think if we are all together and still have the bumper to bumper warranties then it should not be a problem.
I think there was at least 5 of us who have the same tear on the passenger side right?

I am way out of warranty, but I have an after-market warranty I purchased with the car. And I did not buy it from Clawson. They were just my go-between with Honda. Honda was really the one that told me to eat myself.

i got my softtop replaced about 2-3 months ago. Took them a while to get the parts and fix it but they did it with no problem whatsoever. Probably because I have 50k bumper to bumper and i had only 8k miles on the car

good luck with it. Next time, make sure to sand down the A arm or put some things there to protect it.

I purchased my car from Clawson.. off their showroom floor... and they just told me that there seems to be no way there could be a cut there.... and took pictures and that was the end of it.... they are good in some areas... when they want to sell a car to you.... you take it back and the service manager is just a F#CKEN D!CK!!!!

yeah the service manager isn't that great. Took him a month to even give me a call back. He tells you he is going to call and doesn't. Not very good.

On another note...oil filter at honda is now 13 bucks. WTF.

well i'll be ordering my filter online now.

I have a rip in mine too I haven't tried taking it in yet. I need to try before my warranty runs out.

Yeah at the BBQ I counted 6 of us...I think that had the exact same rip. If all of us were to go down there there is no way that they could deny that there is a defect.
