Thanks to a post a few months back from ricosuave, I finally went over to my local AutoZone store and purchased a set of the LED Amber Side Marker lamps.

With the clear sidemarkers, many folks also prefer a clear bulb. However, the need for an amber light remains and this fills the bill perfectly. Around $10, it was a good buy and looks great on the car!

For more info, visit their site here: www.jamstrait.com

Product Number: 194A

BTW, I realized that this light was reversed and later fixed it but figured these pictures were simply "good enough" to share. Hope no one minds!

Looks good....but I have a ?...is it illegal in some places to just have a clear bulb in there too??? I'd like to do that to the rear bulbs, but as from experience, with the LED's you get the hyper-blinker syndrome. So on my last car I just put clear bulbs in the rear. I went to do that with this car, but the posts on the bulbs are different than the yellow ones for some reason, so I'm stuck for now.

i like that one - i bought a pair from pep boys from APC that is the same concept, but with only a single light instead of what appears to be 4 on airgate's set. as his would most likely be a lot brighter, i might try to track those down. as to the reference about fast blinking, mine have worked perfectly in rick's side markers. i have the same ones in the front marker under the turn signal (cleared out headlights), and it works fine there too, although a bit dim in the daytime.

Those are the same bulbs I have. I was using those for the front corner lights, but i like them better in the side markers.

How does the brightness compare to the standard orange bulb?

Cheers
