JAE 2008 - PICS & STUFF
The best JAE yet, IMHO.
Venue, fantastic
Weather, excellent
People, brilliant
Beer, LOTS
Fun, immesurable.
I didn't take any photos but please post them all here, together with stories/memories etc!!
I want to make special thanks to the following people too, for helping make it such a success:
Pippa (Squeak), for sorting Van, collecting stuff, and generally sorting lots, a big help
Scott (Gaspode), for providing many of the useful items to cool beer in, plus genny
Umesh (Umski), for collecting our genny and doing the music & lights
Colin (Kiwi), for bringing some bits and peices and taking them back - thanks for your advice too
Lloyd (kawasakivtec) and Mark (neaput), for helping setup on Thursday
All the chefs!!
Ron (Hypersonic) for providing FOC technical services!
The S2KUK Cheerleaders!! Top quality, and the best support for T-O-W, even though we didn't win!
And Everyone for coming, making it so enjoyable
Roll on next year!!

Oh dear

Just got home. that was the second worst journey I've ever made in the S, and bear in mind that I've span off the road twice in the past.

Massive thank you to the plank in the 4x4 for frantically flashing his lights at me making me think there's summat wrong with the car, leaving me getting soaked to the skin on the hard shoulder of the A1 whilst I checked it out. There was nothing wrong, of course. He was just a prick who didn't like me overtaking him.

Big genuine thanks to all involved with the organising. Was a superb weekend. Photos will be forthcoming in due course.
