G'day Folks,

I am looking to do a a slow drive down to Italy meet, arriving on the 11th of April at the meet.
I would only add one thing to this.

You may be better arriving in Levico Terme on the afternoon/evening of Friday 10th April.

I only suggest this as the 205 Euro accommodation/food deal is based around 3 nights ie Friday Saturday & Sunday.

Also there may also be some briefings and things to get out of the way on Friday as well as some admin. If this can be done before the meet starts propper then all the better.

Either way it is entirely up to you, but i just thought I'd let you know about the accommodation deal.

Thanks.

G'day Lloyd,

I have these dates in mind, start from Manchester in the 4th of April and arrive back on the 16th of April

The event is over three days 10th 11th & 12th , so this woud leave me 13th, 14th, & 15th for a nice run home, thinking probably a little more direct, but I am open to ideas/plans.

I was planning to stay on in Italy for the rest of the week after the bash but would be very interested in a convoy to get there.

I live on the West of England so I am not sure how we could meet unless we have an Ashford, Kent starting point for the trip across Europe with maybe one stop over on the way there.

I would have liked to take in the Davos-Stelvio road a-la top gear but it looks like it typically doesn't open until May!

I am open to ther suggestions

I am based in Accrington, just north of Manchester, so I'll probably head down the M6,M1 and round the M25.

Yes your right Davos-Stelvio isn't open until May.

Stelvio isn't usually open for the time of year that we are there and therefore doesn't form an official part of the program, BUT we currently have Monday morning free and if there is a possibility of doing Stelvio then we will have a crack at it.

As I say, we cannot program this official as to do so would be suicide for the organisers, but we have a slot on Monday to be flexible with the program.

Kiwi,

I could easily go via M6, M40 is better than M1 to get to M25. M1 at M25 end is a nightmare currently but maybe will be okay by April.

I am open to suggestions, any other offers out there?

Kiwi,

I am quite interested in going. Not sure if I can do from 4th to 16th April but we can have a chat about it on the 24th of this month at the next meet.

Martin,

There will be at least 4 groups driving down from the UK and they'll all be doing slightly different things, so I'm sure you'll find a group to suit your needs.
