Chipped my windscreen
I got one on the passenger side right in the middle of the wiper sweep. Scared the sh.. out of my passenger as it was a large visible rock that came from the other direction on the M2 here in Sydney - he thought he was a goner.
Just so you know, replacement Honda windscreens are $1400, but you can usually get one replaced under insurance and just pay the excess (and no damage to your NCB). In my case the excess was $400.
Shortly after I found out you can get a third party supplied and installed for $350. Boy did I feel stooopid!

You think that chipping your windscreen is bad? I got hid in the forehead by a bit of debris on the highway. I was driving along at 110 and all of a sudden bang. It bounced of the frame of my glasses leaving a nick in the metal frame and then ounced of my head leaving a red mark.
To this way day I still haven't worked out what it was. Perhaps it was a piece of the Mir space station?

Just between you and me, when I was delivering my car to the new owner I scored a crack in the windscreen right in front of the passenger seat. It was a rock kicked up by a truck on the freeway. Neither I nor the buyer said anything
I think a high percentage of those who have had their S2000's for a few years are onto their second or third windscreen.
I wonder if the same rate of chipping/cracking/breaking applies in the USA?

My record is:
1 on each of the Hume Highway carriageways around the Southern Highlands (different journeys!)
2 from the same rock heading into Byron Bay (on way to Indy). An unlucky bounce as I braked to avoid it after seeing it come across at me.
2 from a country road up near Singleton.
1 from somewhere else!
You can only really see the main big one (1st one from the Hume) but I'll get it replaced this year.
Talking of being hit by an object, I was also hit in the stomach by a lead fishing weight thrown from a knackered old LandCruiser one night up on the Northern Beaches. The driver lobbed it at me as he passed by.

I called the police afterwards in case he did it again and hit someone on the head. When they came I gave them the offending object and they asked me to prove that I had been hit. I showed them a large bruise that matched the object exactly! Thankfully it was on blubber rather than rib cage!
