A rememberance of our friend, Bruce/The Toon
Today we celebrated the life of our friend Bruce. I have a few pics from the day; hopefully I'll have more to add as another member was also taking photos.
We had a wonderful representation from our New England Community. We had 13 S2000, a Porsche and a Z. (unfortunately, we forgot to take a group pic of the folks attending). Lynda/S@Heart made us all yellow ribbons with angel wings to wear. Yellow, of course, in honor of Bruce's "screaming yellow convertible."
The church was full, and we learned more about our friend Bruce and the good work he did for his community. The celebration of his life was beautifully done.
Ira wanted the cars lined up a certain way, but traffic would not allow it...here's a pic prior to moving the cars.
Legally parked once again:
Jerry/bolton blue couldn't find his S pin and decided beads would be a good accessory for a celebration.
Twelve of us enjoyed dinner at a restaurant after the celebration. I'm sure our gathering would have received the Bruce stamp of approval.
We planned on stopping at Lynda (S@Heart) and Jim's on the way home. I thought that no celebration is complete without cake. So we made one more stop. In honor of Bruce we bought this:
We raised a fork in his honor...
Bruce, we are all better people for having met you. We will all miss you very much.

Lainey. Rest in peace, Bruce.
It was a rough "celebration" for me. I was very fond of Bruce. I have not met too many such as he. He was good, though and through.

A few more pics from Bruce's celebration.
Look at the neat pic one of our NE members took.
Those spa yellow cars (Bruce's) always stand out! He would have LOVED this pic!
Our ribbons were yellow in honor of Bruce's car, and we had little angel wings on them...thanks again to S@Heart for those.
