So, I noticed a link to this dandy on S2ki (through google ads). I got a laugh out of it; so, I thought I would share.

Here is the manufacturer's website:

They claim that their chip will do the following for your S2000:

That's quite funny. I love the pic from the Z site, a resistor in a plastic box that gets you 50hp...classic!

WOW!! That is absolutely amazing . . . I recognize that type of chip from highschool electronics class. We used them to make flashing LEDs and stuff. Lots of fun to burn up. "Ok, who's burning resistors?!"

This is quite a bit more sophisticated than the "chip-in-a-box" mod, but still seems outragious. These guys spent a lot of time and money on this product. They have a regular full page ad in Popular Science Mag, and advertise a Mazda3 sedan getting 121 mpg. They have a nifty 20 min video as well explaining the science behind their product: The Pre-ignition catylitic converter. Scientifically, it actually makes some sense, but the proccess to do it and the other things they "put" into the engine don't quite seem to measure up. Some parts of the video are funny, like the guy breathing the "exhaust" with his mouth open over the "tail pipe".

Incredible reserch going on insde of a storage shed? Running an engine on water, A1 steak sause, tobasco sause, pickle juce, . . . .
