Cams
Hey guys.. i have a problem with my stock cams and i am going to change them and i was wondering that could i put sport cams with out tuning my car? because some told me that i am suppose to change the ecu to hondata.. soo tell me what am i suppose to do.
You should post this question in the modifications forum..
I would advise against it. Sport cams will cause you to run lean. The ecu, however, may or may not be able to compensate. If this compensation is above 3%, which it will be, you will get a CEL light and will not pass inspection. Also it doesn't seem like you are looking for performance so stay with what is reliable and has a smooth idle.
and what on earth happened to you cams that you need to replace them and who diagnosed this?

well you can't expect spectacular gains from an engine that is already working near its limit.
the brian crower stage 2 cams do add in the teens, but i don't know if the baseline was tuned or not.
the aem ems is spectacular, however, proven ~20 whp over stock, mostly due to leaning out at the top.

I did a whole rebuild on my engine and now i am having trouble with the cams. we fixed them right but there is this tik tik noise coming. its not loud but noticable. when the fan switches on you dont notice the sound. so instead of putting stock cams i was wondering how much will the sport cams cost and the stock cams cost. i am looking for performance btw.

I doubt that is an issue with the cams. Cams don't usually become damaged like that. This is in all likely hood an issue of a damaged valve rather than cam. I would closely inspect the valves and retainers before buying new cams.
Most times when people hear the tiking noise from their valvetrain it turns out to be the valves. I have never seen a case of a defective camshaft, which makes sense considering that due to shear sizes and structure the valves and bound to absorb most of the energy.
New sports cams will cost you in the vicinity of 600 new. I think stock ones run for around 400 each.
