My daughter is a Senior at Plant City High School (PCHS) and involved in many Senior activities including planning the Homecoming.

The Football game is Friday evening (11/14/08) and they need cars for the halftime "parade of Homecoming queen candidates". I think the game time is 7:30PM and the parade is of course at half time. Also they have a pep rally Friday afternoon (2:00pm) and we would need to be there for that as well. I realize the afternoon request may make it impossible for some but I know there are a lot of folks who have flex schedules. The afternoon pep rally is no longer a requirement.

I will need 7 cars total this will be similar to the requirements for the SPGP, clean car, remove the center console wind screen, etc. A no show would create a problem so when you say yes we are counting on you. They will have a cloth like banner with the name of the young lady to apply to the rear quarter panel of each car. We will do a lap on the track taking the potential queens to the 50 yard line where they will exit from the cars and go onto the announcement of crowning the homecoming queen etc.

I will bring a few screwdrivers to assist with removal & replacement of the windscreens. I suggest a few microfiber towels and detailer spray (or what ever you use) to touch up the car before the event. If anyone wants to wait and apply tire shine or tire dressing I will bring some extra. Also I suggest a couple of towels, one for the center console/secret compartment for your lady to rest her rear on, and one towel for your passanger seat bottom so not to mess up your seat as her feet will most likely rest here.

Your help is greatly appreciated and it should be fun, when is the last time you were at a High School Football Game?

We will leave for the stadium at 7:00PM which is less than a mile from Sonic, this will give us time to get in and park on the track at the north end zone where we will have the first half to ready our cars etc. There will be no cost associated with parking, or admission to the game for the driver and a guest/passanger.

I am off on Fridays but my car is not parade-able because of the clutch and oil return line issue.


I will offer my services as a driver if somebody trusts me with their car. I have driven for many owners to shows and events.

 

Game I can probably do, pep rally probably not. The soonest I could be there is 4pm. LMK.

 

The pep rally is no longer a requirement, I explained how difficult that is to get people & cars here at that hour then hang around until game time. They will be making other arrangements for the pep rally so I put you donw for the parade lap.

I wouldnt mind having young ladies in my car. I dont know yet if i can make it but it sounds tempting.

 

Put me down for this. Do you know what time we need to meet on site and just where to meet? Do want to stage somewhere and then all ride in together? Can we take passengers or, are we just taking the "ladies". Should we plan on buying a ticket to the game?

Now to the questions, not sure about a meeting time & location yet (will advise). I will let you know where to meet so we can roll in together.

As far as a passanger this should not be a problem riding in and out of the stadium however they would have to just hang out during halftime while you escort/parade your young lady around.
