Default Boot Luggage for S2000

I know that many of you fill the boot space with hi-fi gear, but there must be many like myself who intend to use the S2k as a Grand Tourer and need to use the boot as luggage space. Its peculiar shape made me investigate the possibility of getting made-to-measure luggage a la Bentley/Bugatti. Megabucks!

I am getting a boot-top luggage carrier from www.classic-carriers.nl but still want to use the boot for luggage.

Solution - my local hardware store is selling flat pack luggage, waterproof canvas, 4 pieces, dark green with tan piping/trim for (wait for it!)

S200 VMC:

Put me down for a set. PM me then we can liaise, I'm happy to collect, I pass by on the A14 quite often and could save the postage . BTW your profile has both email and PM turned off (in case you didn't know).

Hear soon,
Rog

Rog:

Ok, will wait a while to see if others want to join in.

I'm a tyro. How do I change my profile to accept ingoin/outgoing PMs and e-mails? I find accessing/changing profile the least user-friendly feature of this site.

Click START BUTTON then REGISTER and you get an option to mod your profile. Until recently the default layout had not hidden this menu so it took me a minute to re-find it!

Don't wait too long for the rest of the world - there might be none left - I suggest a target trade date of Saturday, purely and selfishly so I could collect on my way back from Derbyshire Tuesday and so save on the postage

TTFN - you'll remember that

Thanks, I logged on to Profile but cannot see anything relating to PM. There are slots for ICQNumber; AOL Instant Messenger Handle; Yahoo Messenger Handle - but I do not subscribe to any of these. Is PM different, or do I have to do something else to get PM registered on S2000 International? When I click the PM button on a posting, I get the message that I am not registered to receive or send PM (it also appears that this is the same for my e-mail address).

If I cannot use PM I shall give you my e-mail address. In any case, I shall collect a set of the luggage and hold it here for you to collect on Tuesday next.

TTFN (oh yes, I remember ITMA - Can I do you now sir?, I go-I come back, Mr Fumpf speaking: but even nostalgia is not what it used to be!)

VMC, to enable e-mail & PM do the following:

1.Click on MyS2000 in the blue links bar near the top of the page.

2. In the start button menu click on Edit Options

In the second section headed Messaging & Notification you need to alter the settings for Hide Email Address and Enable Private Messaging.

And then you are all set to go

HTH

Someone a lot wiser than me once said that the only stupid question is the one that you don't ask

Glad you are all up and running now,
