This topic is mainly for Z06-KILLR, CUL8ER and LordStanley as they've expressed interest in organizing events for the local S2000 community, however anyone interested in contributing to the organization of the next Meet of the Midwest (MOM) is welcome to chime in. For those unfamiliar with past MOM events, MOM is a semi-annual non-profit event where S2000 owners and enthusiasts gather from surrounding regions (Oklahoma, St. Louis, Wichita, Topeka, Springfield, etc.). Past MOM events have taken place in Branson, MO, Mountain Home, AR and Kansas City. In the spring of 2007, CUL8ER led the organization an incredible MOM event in Kansas City. I recall mention of having the upcoming Spring MOM09 event there again and am now asking for confirmation that there is still interest in doing so. If so, let's set a date and throw out some ideas for activities (Sadlers... hint, hint

I am all for making this happen. I have been trying to pencil this in for the last THREE freakin' years and something always ended up happening...

However, I'm not really sure a site sponsorship is absolutely necessary. Past MOM events have never been officially sponsored by anyone.
Still looking for potential dates. How's the second or third weekend in May sound? Just throwing that out there since no one else is suggesting anyshing.

With the current economy it is super tough to talk my owner into spending money on just about anything. Just talking him into feeding 30-50 S2K owners will be a challenge. But not impossible. Get a date set and I will do my best.
